Zoho Mail 

Connect your WordPress site to Zoho Mail via OAuth for reliable email. This document outlines the configuration options available for the Zoho Mail Connection.

How to Add a Zoho Mail Connection?

Zoho Mail is an email-sending service that enables reliable email delivery from your WordPress site. To establish a connection, go to the Connections tab and follow the steps below:

Open the Connections Tab

  • Click the Add Connection button.
  • A sidebar menu will slide in from the right.
  • Select Zoho Mail to open another sliding sidebar with the Zoho Mail connection fields.

Configure the Zoho Mail Connection Fields

1. Connection Title

  • Enter a unique title for this connection.

2. Zoho Region

  • Select the region from the drop-down.
  • Select your Zoho region. This should match the region where you created your Zoho account.   

3. Client ID

  • A unique identifier generated by Zoho when you create an application, used to identify your app during authentication.

4. Client Secret 

  • A secure key provided by Zoho that works with the Client ID to authorize and validate your app’s access requests.

Where to find the Client ID, Client Secret?

  • To get the Zoho Mail Client ID, Client Secret, sign in to the Zoho API Console. https://api-console.zoho.in/
  • Click the GET STARTED Button.

  • Create New Client
    • Add Client Name
    • Homepage URL (your site)
    • Authorized Redirect URI (copy from SureMails)

  • Copy Client ID, Client Secret, and paste it to the SureMail Zoho connection settings.

5. Redirect URI –

Click the Authenticate with Zoho Button, sign in, check the consent box, then Accept.

If consent fails, ensure the Redirect URI in Zoho exactly matches the one shown here.

6. From Email

The ‘From Email’ must match your Zoho Mail account address. SureMail will automatically use ‘from_email’ set in the Zoho Mail account.

7. From Name

Specify the From Name that should be used for all outgoing emails.

  • This is the name that recipients will see in their inbox when receiving emails from your site.
  • You can use a combination of your name and company name as the from name.

8. Connection Sequence for From Email

  • Default Value: 10
  • Determines the Sequence of this connection.
  • Lower numbers indicate higher priority. If multiple connections are available for a given From Email, then the connection with the lowest sequence number will be used first.

By configuring the Zoho Mail connection properly, you ensure reliable email delivery from your WordPress site with the correct sender details.
