Introduction to Email Logs Tab
The SureMail plugin provides an intuitive Email Logs feature to help you monitor and manage your email communications efficiently. This guide will walk you through accessing and using the Email Logs to track the status and history of your sent emails.
Benefits of Email Logs
- Tracking: Monitor the delivery status of emails sent through your website.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and address issues with failed emails.
- Organization: View an organized record of your email communications.
Accessing Email Logs
- Navigate to Settings in your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to the SureMail Dashboard.
- Click on the Email Logs tab.
This will open the Email Logs interface where you can view, filter, and manage email records.
Features of the Email Logs Tab
1. Search Option
Use the search bar at the top of the Email Logs to quickly locate specific emails based on keywords, email addresses, or subjects.
2. Status Filter
This dropdown filter allows you to filter emails by their status:
- Successful: Displays emails that were successfully sent.
- Failed: Displays emails that encountered issues and were not sent.
- In Progress: Displays emails that are currently being processed and have not yet been sent.
- Blocked: Displays emails that were prevented from being sent due to potentially problematic email content.
3. Date Picker
The Date Picker filter enables you to view email logs for a specific time period. The available options include:
- Today
- Yesterday
- This Week
- Last 7 Days
- This Month
- Last 30 Days
- Custom Range: Select a specific date range using the calendar.
4. Delete Option
Deleting a Single Log:
- Click on the Delete icon to delete a specific log.
Deleting Multiple Logs:
- Select the desired email log(s) by checking the box next to them.
- A Delete button will appear.
- Click the Delete button to remove the selected log(s) permanently.
Note: Deleting email logs cannot be undone. Ensure you no longer need the logs before deleting them.
5. View Details
Click on the eye icon to view more details.
A panel will appear from the right side displaying the following details:
- Sender Details
- Recipient Details
- Timestamp of the sent email
- The subject of the Email
- Retry Count
- Reputation Shield (if enabled)
- Email Body Details
- Server Response Details
- Email Headers
- Attachments (if any)
