Editing a Connection in the SureMail Plugin

The SureMail plugin allows you to manage and edit your email connections effortlessly. Follow these steps to edit an existing connection:

Steps to Edit a Connection

  1. Locate the Connection
    • Navigate to the SureMail settings page within your WordPress dashboard.
    • Find the connection you wish to edit from the list of configured connections.
  1. Open the Edit Sidebar
    • Click on the Edit Icon (represented by a pencil) next to the connection.
    • A right-hand sidebar menu will slide in, displaying all the editable fields for the selected connection.
  1. Modify Connection Details
    • In the sidebar menu, you will see sections for various connection settings, such as:
      • SMTP Server Details: Update the host, port, encryption type, etc.
      • Authentication: Modify the username or password credentials.
      • Sender Information: Adjust the sender name and email address.
    • Make the necessary changes to the connection settings.
  2. Save Your Changes
    • After editing, review the updated details to ensure accuracy.
    • Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the sidebar.
  3. Test the Connection (Optional but recommended)
    • Use the “Test Connection” option to verify the changes.
    • Ensure the email delivery is working correctly.

  • Backup Current Settings: Before making changes, note down the existing connection details in case you need to revert.
  • Double-Check Credentials: Incorrect credentials may result in failed email delivery.
