Connection Sequence Verification Failed
Error Message:Connection Sequence 10 is already assigned to another connection. Please choose a different sequence.
Cause of the Error:
This error occurs when an SMTP connection in SureMail has been assigned a Connection Sequence that is already in use by another connection. SureMail allows Connection Sequence values such as 10, 20, 30, or higher. If a connection is already using a specific Connection Sequence, attempting to assign the same Connection Sequence to another connection will result in this error.
How to Fix:
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Check Existing Connections:
- Go to the SureMail SMTP settings.
- Review the Connection Sequence values assigned to existing connections.
- Change the Connection Sequence Value:
- Choose a different Connection Sequence number that is not already assigned (e.g., 10, 20, 40, etc.).
- Enter the new Connection Sequence value.
- Save the Connection:
- After updating the Connection Sequence, click on Save to apply the changes.
By ensuring each connection has a unique Connection Sequence value, you can prevent conflicts and successfully verify your SMTP connection in SureMail.
