Introduction to SureMail
SureMail is a robust WordPress SMTP plugin crafted to optimize and simplify your email communication. In this guide, we’ll introduce you to the SureMail Dashboard, walk you through its key features, and help you get started with efficient email management.
Dashboard Tab
The Dashboard tab provides a comprehensive overview of your email activity, offering valuable insights at a glance:
- Overview Metrics:
- Total number of emails sent
- Count of failed email deliveries
- A date range picker to filter data and analyze specific periods
- Recent Email Logs:
- Displays a quick summary of the latest email activity.
This section helps you get a bird’s-eye view of your email operations, making it easy to spot potential issues and take corrective actions promptly.
Settings Tab
The Settings tab offers two key features to streamline your email management:
- Log Emails:
- Enable/Disable Toggle: You can toggle the logging of emails on or off.
- Delete Logs: When enabled, you’ll see an option to delete logs after a specified duration. Select the desired time frame, and logs will be automatically removed once they’ve surpassed that period. This helps manage storage and keep your system uncluttered.
- Default Connection:
- This dropdown menu displays a list of all your configured email connections. The selected connection will be used by default unless a specific “From Email” address is provided in the email headers.
- Content Guard:
- Activating the Content Guard feature prevents emails with potentially problematic content from being sent to your SMTP service.
Connections Tab
The Connections tab is where you set up and manage your email sending services. SureMail supports a variety of email providers, giving you the flexibility to choose the best one for your needs:
- Amazon SES
- Any SMTP Provider
- SendGrid
- Brevo
- Mailgun
This centralized configuration panel makes it easy to set up and maintain your email connections.
Email Logs Tab
The Email Logs tab is your dedicated space for monitoring and managing email activity:
- Detailed Logs:
- Track the status of sent emails, including delivery success or failure.
- View timestamps and error messages (if any) to troubleshoot issues.
- Search and Filter:
- Quickly locate specific email logs using filters such as recipient, subject, or date.
This tab ensures you can stay on top of your email performance, troubleshoot any delivery issues, and maintain consistent communication.
